How exciting that you are here! I am assuming you are pregnant, if that’s the case the congrats! Having a newborn is such a beautiful time. It goes by so quickly and doing newborn photos allows you to capture that sweet curly life you just created. So now the question is how and when you should schedule, below I will tell you the 3 easy steps to do just that!
1. Get In Touch
To schedule your newborn session all you have to do is message me and let me know you are interested. In the message it is helpful to tell me how far along you are. I know that it can seem crazy to schedule your newborn session before you even have your newborn. You may ask “how can we schedule a session when were not sure exactly what day the baby will be born?” Valid question, the answer is we can’t. What we can do is put your due date in my calendar. I only take a certain number of newborn clients per month. This ensures that no matter when your baby is born, I have enough room in my schedule to fit you into a 2-week period.
Newborn sessions are my focus. They allow me to capture such a precious time in your life. I want to make sure every session goes smoothly, and to ensure this happens I do a consultation call with every client. Once you contact me, I immediately schedule the call with you. It is a zoom call where we talk about your vision, I explain what to expect during the session, and we also talk about investment.
Doing a zoom call gives us a chance to meet before the session. Which allows us to get to know each other. After all I will be posing your precious newborn. It is important to me that you are comfortable during the session.
Once we establish that I am the right photographer for you then I will put you in the books. Like I said before we will just put your due date into my calendar. Once you have the baby you can text me and we will officially schedule you. I always recommend to text me while you are still in the hospital. I will schedule you for 6-14 days after birthdate.
After you have scheduled your newborn session, a deposit is due to hold your spot. Then all you have left to do is sign a contract. One week before your session I will send you a prep guide to help the session go smoothly and to ensure you don’t forget anything. It’s an easy and important process that I have created and truly love.

Where is your studio located and what makes it special.
My newborn studio is located in the heart of Grants Pass, Oregon. It is on the top floor of a beautiful historical building. With brick walls and hardwood floors it truly is something special and welcoming.
