Capturing your baby’s first year through photos is such a fun way to celebrate each milestone from your sweet baby bump to the first smiles, all the way to their first birthday. The first year of your precious baby’s life goes by so fast! I can say from personal experience that I have not regretted any photoshoot I did during all my kids’ first year.
The first session would be newborn photos. I do the newborn session around 6-14 days after the baby is born. This truly shows how beautiful new life is. That sweet curly newborn stage goes by way too fast. Capturing your baby when they are newborns is the best way to remember how little and curly they were. The newborn session is 3-4 hours long. I pose your baby on beautiful fabric, in timeless props, and in your arms.
The next session would be a 3-month milestone. During this one I capture how well your sweet baby is holding their head up as well as that adorable smile they just started showing off. It’s a shorter session, around 30 minutes. It is such a fun time and one you will be so happy you did. Out of all the sessions I do, this is one of my favorites. I love watching your sweet baby give me all those cute little giggles because at this age, everything makes them happy!
Milestone number two is the 6-month session. This session gives your baby the opportunity to show off his/her sweet, sweet skills. Some will be sitting, some may be getting up into the crawling position, some may even just be learning to roll over. Every baby is different. I love the 6-month session because they are so proud of every skill they have developed and of course so are we. They are a lot more vocal and SO photogenic! We can do so much with this session. Some choose to get a ½ year cake and let their little one’s dive in and some choose to go simple. Personally, I love simple! I love the timeless photos we can create with simple backdrops. I allow time for outfit changes during this session as well. Six-month milestone sessions are 30 minutes to 1 hour long, it all depends on how long your sweet little one lets us snap those adorable pictures.
Nine-month milestone session is the next on the list of this amazing package. Your little one will certainly be sitting up and possibly even crawling at this age. Some can even stand up and take a few steps. Capturing your nine-month-old baby brings me so much joy. I love seeing what new skills they have learned since the last time I saw them. Every one of my own kids was doing something different at this age. The first was walking, the second was crawling, and my 3rd was so busy and interested in everything he barely could handle sitting still. I love looking back on these ones and seeing what they were up to at nine months old. This session stays around 30 minutes because like I said, they are busy!
Finally, we have come to the big ONE! One year milestone sessions are by far my favorite session of all, and I have a feeling it is going to be your little one’s favorite as well! You may have heard these described as cake smash or smash n splash session. During this session your little one gets to mow down on some delicious cake and make as big of mess as they like. After the cake they get to take a nice warm bubble bath and get squeaky clean. All while I get the cutest most cherished photos of your sweet one year old. I keep the one-year milestone AKA “The Smash n Splash” limited to one hour. This ensures that they have a blast while eating yummy cake and splashing away, but not too long to get overwhelmed. I keep the decorations very simple and subtle for two reasons, the first reason is that you will have timeless photos that your kids will never be embarrassed of later in life, and the second is because we would never want to take attention away from the main focus, your baby.
The Milestone package is truly the best you can get. Every session that is included has its own special feeling that comes with it. If you told me to choose just one…well that would be impossible. Not only will you love every session, but I love capturing all the sweet memories! Every baby is different and comes with their own unique personality. It is my job to capture that personality through my lens, and I promise I will enjoy every second of it!
Each of these sessions can be purchased separately but I’m telling you, you will have a hard time choosing just one or two. Who can decide which ages are the most important to capture? Every child is different and they all learn and develop at different ages. This package ensures that we will capture all of them.

Where is your studio located and what makes it special.
